The Upper Makefield Fire Company (Station 81)

A new firehouse is under construction in the Township Municipal Complex, at 1076 Eagle Rd. 
 The new firehouse will feature 2 garage bays, a lounge area, male & female bathrooms, just to name a few things.
The firehouse was completed during the summer of 2002.

Past Apparatus that ran as Engine 81

1965 Mack - Purchased from Bryn-Mawr Fire Dept - our first "green" apparatus - When the Vehicle was taken out of front line service it was used for Santa and parades. It was sold to a private owner during early winter of 2003 and can still be seen at local parades. 1969 Mack purchased from Horsham in 1979 sold to Apparatus dealer in 1998.  Vehicle is now serving as Engine 1 for the people of Gaylesville, Alabama and is still green at this time. click for Pictures
